Genverter compact range
WhisperPower’s Genverter© models combine the latest diesel engine technology with a new way of producing electrical power. Instead of adding an alternator with fixed speed on the back of the fly-wheel, WhisperPower has designed a very compact permanent magnet alternator (PM), located just behind the engine. As a result, these systems are much smaller and lighter compared to traditional generators.

Marine

• Piccolo ready-to-install silent sets with the highest level of sound reduction (4/5/8/10/12/15 kVA)
• Piccolo Twin models, doubling the power by parallel operation
• M-GV Genverter versions with classic sheet-metal sound-guard

Mobile/Land

Customer benefits

• The output voltage of the generator is not dependent on the RPM (revolutions per minute) of the generator. The generator RPM can be fixed to a position offering the optimal balance between RPM, output power, audible noise and vibration. The RPM window varies depending on the model
• The PM alternator utilizes the same cooling circuit as the main engine making the installation much simpler. (Not available for the Piccolo 5/Scalino 4)
• The output voltage/power of the PM can be used for various purposes including integration into DC systems. (Go to the OctoPower range to read more)
• All models are supplied with external connections for cooling and electrical wiring

WhisperPower’s 1500/1800 fixed rpm diesel generators have built up a strong reputation over the past 20 years. The products are smaller and quieter than most other products and are extremely durable and reliable. The super-quiet SQ range is the best solution for applications where a constant level of high quality, non-stop electrical power is required. Models are available from 15 kVA to 50 kVA, for single and three-phase output. They are supplied with inclusive advanced control panels and all necessary installation parts to ensure a durable installation, with or without a sound-guard.
